Jungle Adventure Tours

This landscape is meant to be explored, not just admired from a hammock. Our guided tours take you into the river, the jungle, and nearby communities for hands-on experiences that balance adventure, nature, and local culture.

Cave Tour

K'anba Cave Tour

Discover the K’anba Cave with our experienced local guides. With just a candle to light the way, wade through the cool cave waters, shimmy along the rock walls, and jump from small cliffs into the natural underground pools.

After the caves, we take a jump off a rope swing, visit the waterfall where the Semuc spring water meets the Cahabon River below, and then do a short tube ride down the river.

Tubing

Extreme Tubing

Spend an afternoon on the Cahabón River and experience one of Guatemala’s most picturesque river valleys from a different angle. Led by expert local guides, you’ll tube through white-water rapids and float along calm river bends, surrounded by lush jungle scenery, birdlife overhead, and the steady rhythm of life along the river.

The tube run lasts between 45mins to 1hour. You’ll exit the river before a large waterfall, hike through the jungle to an old hanging bridge, stop at a local pier with rope swings, then ride back to the hostel by tuk tuk or truck.

Sign up at reception.

Chocolate Tour

Local Cacao Workshop

Learn to make chocolate with a local family in a hands-on workshop following the traditional Mayan bean-to-bar process. Held at a homestead in the village of Chicanuz, you’ll get a firsthand look at how cacao is grown, prepared, and used locally.

Visit cacao trees and seasonal crops, then roast, peel, grind, and shape your own chocolate from scratch to take with you.

"The caving/tubing trip was one of the best things we’ve done through a hostel. 100% recommend this place!"
